KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The University of Michigan-Dearborn golf team traveled west to play in the Steven Tyler Memorial Tournament hosted by Kalamazoo College. The women's team took fifth out of eight teams, while the men finished third out of six teams. 

On the women's side, Kristen Guobis took home fifth place as she shot an 80. Megan Rogers was tied for 16th with an 89, and Danielle Gonser and Kenzie Christopher shot a 92 and 97, respectively, for the Wolverines. 

In the men's contest, Brandon Tirador and Mahmoud each shot a pair of 77s to finish tied for third place on the par 72 course. Brenden Pultorak tied for 17th with an 85, while Trevor Hill and Jason Cuppari shot an 87 and 91 to round out the day for UM-Dearborn.
