Wolverines See 21 Shot Improvement on Day 2 at Battle at the Brae

AUGUSTA, Mich. -- The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's golf team had a solid day in the final round of the Battle at the Brae at Stoatin Brae Golf Club on Saturday (Apr. 6). The Wolverines placed 9th out of 10 teams.

Brenden Pultorak saw an eight-shot improvement after carding a 74 in round two. Pultorak finished his front nine three over par. After recording 11 consecutive pars, Pultorak eagled the par-five 16th to cap off an impressive stretch of golf. Trevor Hill had the best day of all competitors. Hill posted a 20-stroke improvement from his opening round. Hill finished his front nine with four pars, two birdies, and three bogies for a 37 on the front nine. Hill recorded two birdies on the back nine en route to a final round 76. 

Mahmoud Saad finished three over to finish the highest out of all Wolverines competitors. Saad finished tied for 24th, while Brandon Tirador finished tied for 43rd. Rounding out the Wolverine competitors in 57th place.
