RIVERVIEW, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's soccer team opened up 2021 competition against Madonna University in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference contest Saturday at the MAC in Livonia, Mich.
The Crusaders offense was firing on all cylinders, scoring three times in the first half, while adding two more in the second to secure a 5-0 win. The loss drop the Wolverines to 0-1-0 overall and 0-1-0 in the WHAC.
Lisa Kohler and Amber Festian split time in goal for UM-Dearborn, making five and two saves, respectively.
The Wolverines will look to bounce back in the home opener against Lourdes University at 7pm at Fordson High School in Dearborn, Mich.
