Men's Bowling takes second at Olivet

CHARLOTTE, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn bowling team competed at the Olivet Comet Classic hosted by Olivet College Sunday at CharLanes in Charlotte, Mich.

The Wolverine men finished in second place out of seven teams in the overall standings, including a team-high 917 in the fourth game.

Two UM-Dearborn men were named to the All-Tournament Team, led by DJ Jablonski in first place overall with a total four-game score of 782 and an average of 195.50. His best game on the day came in the first with 241 pins.

Michael Allen was also named to the All-Tournament Team, finishing fifth with a total of 739 pins and an average of 184.75. Chevy Pawlik had the highest scoring average on the day, averaging 207 pins in three games.

Results for the women were not reported.

The Wolverines compete in WHAC Jamboree No. 2 Saturday at Wayne Bowl in Wayne, Mich.
