Grand Valley Defeats Women's Basketball

Allendale, MI - After falling to Albion College on Saturday, the women's basketball team took the court on Sunday and lost to NCAA Division II Grand Valley State 111-37. Grand Valley came out strong and continued to shoot the ball well as the Lakers shot 50% for the game. Once again, poor shooting and turnovers plagued the Wolverines. Michigan-Dearborn shot 30% for the game and committed 30 turnovers. Grand Valley also outrebounded the Wolverines 48-22.

Freshman Micah White led Michigan-Dearborn with 8 points. Sophomore Marisa Sauve added 7 points and 4 rebounds in the loss. The women's basketball team is off for the holiday break until January 2nd, when they host the Concordia University Cardinals at 1:00pm.
