2022 marks Amber Klavons first season at UM-Dearborn. Klavon began her coaching career in 2016 for DCFC West (formerly Canton Celtics). She holds a USSF “D” License and plans to pursue her "C" license in 2023. Klavon was born in Jackson, Mich. and played for the Jackson Rush during her youth career. Upon finishing her youth career, she went on to play collegiately for Jackson College and transferred to Lawrence Tech University to finish her collegiate soccer career. Amber graduated with a Bachelor’s of Interior Architecture in the spring of 2017, and currently works full-time in Farmington, but coaching is her passion. Amber is also the Head Coach at Warren Mott High School, while she assists for UM-Dearborn.
