DEARBORN, Mich. - The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's basketball team made a strong comeback in the second half, but the Wolverines were unable to overcome an early deficit against Rochester College in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference contest Wednesday at the UM-Dearborn Fieldhouse.

UM-Dearborn outscored Rochester 21-13 in the final 10 minutes, but fell 60-45 to the Warriors. The loss drops the Wolverines to 6-16 overall and 1-12 in the WHAC.

Freshman Chloe Godbold (FR/Southfield, MI) led the Wolverines with a career-high 13 points, including three 3-pointers off the bench. Senior Megan Swick (SR/Grosse Ile, Mich.) hit three 3-pointers to finish with nine points, while junior Kendall Rose (JR/Canton, MI) added seven points. Sophomore Sade Lemons (SO/Sterling Heights, MI) pulled down a team-high 11 rebounds.

The Wolverines shot 16-of-62 from the field, 7-of-31 from deep and 6-of-12 from the line, while outrebounding the Warriors 41-39.

Rio Dudgeon led the Warriors with 15 points, hitting five 3-pointers, while Allyssa Copley added 13 points.

The Wolverines host Siena Heights University in a WHAC matchup Saturday at the UM-Dearborn Fieldhouse.
