DEARBORN, Mich. — The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's soccer team dropped a 5–0 decision to Lourdes University on Saturday afternoon in WHAC play at Legacy Park.
The Gray Wolves (10-6-0, 6-3-0 WHAC) opened the scoring in the ninth minute and carried a 3–0 lead into halftime before adding two more goals in the second half. Jannik Hofmann and Abed Taleb each scored twice for Lourdes, while Tyson Woodring tallied two assists.
UM-Dearborn (1-9-3, 0-7-2 WHAC) battled to create opportunities against a strong Lourdes backline. Liam Rodriguez and Diego Beaman each registered a shot on goal, but Lourdes goalkeeper Benjamin Godard made two saves to preserve the clean sheet.
Goalkeeper Mohammad Bader made eight saves in net for the Wolverines, including several key stops to limit the deficit.
