Livonia, MI - The men's soccer team fell 5-0 to the Madonna University Crusaders Wednesday afternoon. Madonna (11-4, 6-2) scored four goals in the first half to take control of the game early. Michigan-Dearborn (1-10-1, 1-5-1) could only manage one shot for the entire game as the Crusaders defense stymied the Wolverines offense.
Madonna got three goals and one assist from Amadou Cisse and three assists from Ryan Williams. Michigan-Dearborn starting goalie junior Andrew Peitrzak made three saves in the first half while sophomore Erick Beas made two saves and allowed one goal in the second half. The soccer team will next travel to Lima, OH to take on the University of Northwestern Ohio Racers Saturday, October 25th at 3:00pm. The Racers are undefeated in the WHAC and are ranked 16th in the latest NAIA ranking.
