Soccer Falls to Olivet Nazarene 3-0

Bourbannis, IL - The men's soccer dropped their second non-conference game of the season on Friday night falling to the Olivet Nazarene Tigers 3-0. The Tigers outshot the Wolverines 19-2 on the game. Michigan-Dearborn goalie Adam Pietrzak made six saves on the day.

Olivet Nazarene would open the scoring up five minutes into the game when Paddy Hoepp scored on a penalty kick. That was the only goal of the first half. Early in the second half the Tigers would strike again when Keefer Whaley shot one past Pietrzak from about 10 yards out. Hoepp would finish the scoring off a deflection at the 72nd minute mark.

The Wolverines will next play Rochester College on Monday, September 8th at 3:00 at Winstar Sports in Pontiac.
