Men's Golf Finishes Fourth After Day One of Cardinal Classic

YPSILANTI, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's golf team sits in fourth place after day one of the Cardinal Classic at Washtenaw Golf Club. The Wolverines finished second out of seven WHAC teams after two rounds of competition. 

 

Mahmoud Saad sits in second place, one shot off the lead after shooting an opening round 77 and an even par 72 in the second round. Brandon Tirador also sits in the top-5 after he shot a 77 and a 73 to put him two shots off the lead. Mohamed Homayed shot a 76 in the second round to boost him up the leaderboard and finish the day in 24th. 

 

Brenden Pultorak was consistent on the after noon, shooting an 82 and 83 for the Wolverines. Ali Elhage rounded out the scoring for the Wolverines with a 90 and 98.
