UM-Dearborn shutout at Concordia

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The offense continues to be stifled for the University of Michigan-Dearborn women's soccer team, as the Wolverines were shutout for a fourth consecutive game at Concordia University Saturday in Ann Arbor, Mich.

The Wolverines were outshot 24-9 and fell to the Cardinals 2-0. UM-Dearborn has allowed just an average of 1.75 goals per game over its last four, but the Wolverines are winless in that span as the team drops to 1-8-0 overall and 0-5-0 in the WHAC.

Concordia got the scoring started in the 16th minute on a goal from Kiera Savage, while Kendra Lewis added an insurance tally midway through the second half.

Jordan Anheuser continued her strong play in net for the Wolverines, making 10 saves, while Marta Andreu led UM-Dearborn with two shots on goal.

The Wolverines return to action with a midweek WHAC contest at Aquinas College at 7 pm Wednesday in Grand Rapids, Mich.
