PORTAGE, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's and women's golf teams traveled to Portage, Michigan, to compete in the Steven Tyler Memorial tournament.
The men's team placed fourth overall out of nine teams with a combined score of 319, leaving them +39 from the overall par.
Mohmoud Saad led the Wolverines, placing eighth, shooting six over par and a 78.
Brandon Tirador placed 10th, shooting 79 (+7).
Nick Metaxas and Ryan Gniewek tied for 18th place with a (+9) 81.
Brenden Pultorak placed 43rd, shooting 90 (+18).
Shooting individually for UM-Dearborn were Adam Hammoud, Ali Elhage, and Nick Cooper. They placed 36th, 49th, and 52nd respectively.
On the other hand, the University of Michigan-Dearborn women's golf team placed 5th overall out of seven total teams. The overall team score was 293, leaving them +77 over par.
Leading the team was Kristen Guobis, who landed fourth, shooting 86 (+14), with Leila Saad ending 30th with an overall 101 (+29).
Andi Evers finished 32nd, shooting 106, leaving her +34 over par.
