Wolverine bowling concludes season at WHAC Championships

JACKSON, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's and women's bowling teams concluded their first season as a varsity-sponsored sport at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Championships Saturday at JAX 60 in Jackson, Mich.

The Wolverine men's team finished 10th out of 13 teams in the qualifying round after six Baker games. The games scores were 364, 366, 325, 323, 414 and 303 for a total of 2,095.

Indiana Tech won the qualifying round with a total of 2,404. Lawrence Tech defeated Indiana Tech in the championship round 817-813 to win the WHAC Championship

The UM-Dearborn women's team was 11th of 12 teams with a total of 1,582. The Wolverine's Baker game scores were 260, 260, 263, 257, 258 and 284.

Aquinas won the qualifying round with a total of 2,233, while Concordia University defeated Huntington University 724-717 in the finals to win the league title.
