Wolverines finish sixth at WHAC Championship

BATTLE CREEK, Mich.- The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's golf team was in action at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference championships on Sunday-Tuesday at Bedford Valley Golf Club in Battle Creek, Mich. 

The event saw the Wolverines finish in 6th place overall out of 11 competing teams, while shooting a 967 over the three round event. Leading UM-Dearborn was Nick Metaxas, finishing with an overall score of 237, placing him tied for 12th place, with his lowest score of 77 coming in the final found. Metaxas was also named to the WHAC Second Team.

 Logan Willoughby finished tied for 21st place, while shooting 241 overall with two rounds at 80, while Brandon Tirador finished two strokes back in a tied for 25th place with an overall score of 243, shooting a 79 twice.

Lawrence Tech took the first place finish in the event.
