High School: Played varsity baseball at Livonia Stevenson High School ... a three-time letter winner ... finished his sophomore varsity season with a 4-2 record and a 2.47 ERA ...  hit for a .333 batting average and named Team Most Valuable Player ... went 4-3 recording a 1.99 ERA and a .262 batting average as a junior ... a KLAA Scholar-Athlete.
