GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The University of Michigan-Dearborn completed a home-and-home sweep of Calvin College, going on the road to top the Knights Saturday in Grand Rapids, Mich.
The Wolverines battled to a 2-1 lead after two periods and broke loose for three goals in the third period to pull away for a 5-2 win over Calvin, completing a sweep of a series that started Thursday at the UM-Dearborn Fieldhouse. The win moves UM-Dearborn to 7-1-1 overall.
After falling behind 1-0, Justin Dunn (SO/Trenton, MI) pulled the Wolverines even with a first period goal on assists fom Andrew Spiegel (JR/Riverview, MI) and Troy Saunders (JR/Canton, Mich.). UM-Dearborn took its first lead of the night on a goal early in the second period from Tyler Dalton (JR/Northfield, OH).
The Wolverines took control in the third period, netting goals from Jared Dedenbach (JR/Warren, MI), Tyler Groat (JR/Wyandotte, MI) and Christian Ramage (SO/Taylor, MI).

The Wolverines return to Dearborn to host Homecoming against Missouri State University at 7:30 pm Friday at the UM-Dearborn Ice Arena.
