DeVita and Roberts Earn WHAC Postseason Awards

DEARBORN, Mich. –  Joseph DeVita and Nathan Roberts of the University of Michigan-Dearborn bowling team earned WHAC All-Conference Honors for their performances in advance of the WHAC Bowling Championships. The league announced on Wednesday (Feb. 14). 

Joseph DeVita finished just shy of Bowler of the Year honors after he posted a 228.19 average. DeVita came behind Indiana Tech's Brandon Haney's 231.56, earning First Team All-Conference honors. In 16 games played, the New Boston, Mich., knocked down a total of 3,651 pins. DeVita rolled the team's first perfect game during the Jamboree on November 3rd. DeVita also earned the  WHAC Champions of Character Award as well. 

Nathan Roberts earned Second-Team All-Conference Honors after his 213.25 in 16 games. The Freshman from Allen Park, Mich., knocked down 3,412 pins in his fantastic opening season in the Maize & Blue. 

After another strong year, Jessica Ludwick was named Champions of Character on the women's side. Ludwick also earned WHAC All-Academic Honors. The entire All-Academic list can be seen below.
