Craig Cotter is entering his third year as the Wolverines' Head Coach. Cotter spent his first three years as an assistant coach and became the interim Head Coach for the 2021-22 season. Cotter brings more than 15 years of College and High School coaching experience.

Under Cotter's tenure, the Wolverines have received All-Conference honors three times highlighted by Max Mclennan earning Second Team All-Conference in back-to-back seasons. McLennan was the first player under Cotter's tutelage to advance to the next level as McLennan earned a spot on the Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers of the United Shore Professional Baseball League. Cotter's hitters have specialized in hitting the long ball as the Wolverines set the single-season home run record after blasting 30 home runs during the 2023-24 season. 

Cotter, a native of Holland, MI, and now a Dearborn resident for more than 30 years, is the owner of the Michigan Strategy Baseball Academy, established in 2012. His last stop was the head coach at Livonia Clarenceville High School varsity baseball from 2014-2018. Cotter led the Trojans to 2 league championships, 2 District championships, a Regional Championship, and a Regional title, a first for the program. In addition, the team reached the state quarterfinals in 2018. 

Cotter has also been a site director for the US Baseball Academy, an instructor and site director with the Crossroads Baseball Showcase Series, and led the USA Team Detroit 15U team to a goal medal at the 2013 International Children's Games in Canada. In addition, Cotter is a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association.

Cotter currently resides in Dearborn with his wife Shawn and has three grown children and a grandchild.
