University of Michigan-Dearborn

Bryan Earl is in his 21st year with the University of Michigan-Dearborn Department of Athletics & Recreation. in 2019, Earl was promoted to Associate Athletics Director of External Operations after four years as the Assistant Athletic Director for External Operations. in 2022 Earl was promoted to Director of Athletics & Recreation after serving as the Interim for a short time. 

Earl started with the university in March 2003 as the Assistant Intramural Sports Coordinator and Sports Information Director. He other previous titles with the department have included Intramural Coordinator, Ice Arena Manager, and Wellness Center Coordinator.

He is the Sport Administrator for men’s soccer, men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s bowling, and softball. Earl handles sponsorships, alumni relations, and donor relations for the department while overseeing the sports information department and the athletic training services.

Serve on the University’s Stand Up and Speak Out Committee

Education Background:

BA in Organizational Studies from UM-Ann Arbor (1999)

MS in Physical Education with a concentration in Sports Management from Eastern Michigan University (2010)
