DEARBORN, Mich. - The University of Michigan-Dearborn club cheer team is set to host open tryouts for the 2017-18 season.

The tryout will take place from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 19 on the south basketball court of the UM-Dearborn Fieldhouse. The tryout is open to all enrolled UM-Dearborn students. This is a Co-Ed team.

The cheer team promotes school spirit at various events throughout the year within the Department of Athletics & Recreation. The team cheers on the sideline at home basketball and ice hockey games, while also practicing and training for intercollegiate competitions.
