Huntington tops UM-Dearborn 4-0

HUNTINGTON, Ind. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's soccer team dropped a nonconference contest at Huntington University Saturday in Huntington, Ind.

The Foresters solved the strong goalkeeping of UM-Dearborn freshman Alex Siluk and pulled away for a 4-0 win to drop the Wolverines to 2-2-1 overall with one game remaining prior to the start of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference season.

Siluk made nine saves, several of the highlight variety early, holding UM-Dearborn in the contest.

Huntington scored twice in 95 seconds starting in the 29th minute. The Wolverines attempted to battle back, but Forester goals in the 76th and 86th minute put the game away.

Sophomore Vito Sera was the strongest threat on offense for the Wolverines with three shots on net. Huntington outshot UM-Dearborn 23-8.

The Wolverines close nonconference play against Kalamazoo College at 5 pm Tuesday in Kalamazoo, Mich.
