Hockey Falls to Niagara 5-4

Niagara, NY - The hockey team ended their two game New York road trip with a 5-4 loss to Niagara University Saturday night. The Wolverines controlled the offensive zone outshooting Niagara 52-28 but could not pull off the victory. Once again the underclassmen led the way for Michigan-Dearborn. Freshman Tyler Groat had two goals and one assist. Fellow freshman John Barlow added one goal while sophomore Marcus McSweeney had the Wolverines other goal. Freshman Nic LaBurn had three assists and sophomore Andrew Palushaj and freshman Tyler Dalton each had two assists. The hockey team will play its home opener Friday night at 7:30pm agianst Oakland University.
