Hockey Falls in a Shootout

Buffalo, NY - The hockey team continued its early season road trip with a stop in Buffalo. Buffalo came into the game # 16 in the ACHA while Michigan-Dearborn came in ranked # 19 in the ACHA. The two evenly matched teams proved how evenly matched they are as Buffalo would win in a shootout 4-3. Youth once again served the Wolverines well as all three goals were scored by freshmen. Nic LaBurn, Tyler Groat, and John Barlow scored Michigan-Dearborn's goals. Groat and LaBurn also had one assist. Sophomore Andrew Palushaj had two assists. The hockey team will next head to Niagara to take on the 14th ranked team in the ACHA. The puck drops in Niagara at 5:50pm.
