Hockey Wins at Western Michigan

Kalamazoo, MI - Seven seems to be the ice hockey's team magic number. Just three games into the season, the Wolverines have scored seven goals in each game. Friday night Michigan-Dearborn defeated Western Michigan 7-2. Sophomore Jeff McFarland once again led the offense scoring two goals and assisting on two others. McFarland was the only Wolverine to score two goals. Junior Gino Darin had one goal and two assists while sophomore defenseman Ryan Urso added one goal and one assist. Other goal scorers included sophomore Andrew Palushaj, and freshmen Tyler Groat and John Barlow. Freshman Kevin Bachard added two assists. The hockey team will look to sweep Western Michigan as they play again Saturday at 3:10pm.
