Wolverine women compete at NAIA Great Lakes Challenge
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn women’s cross country team competed with some of the top teams in the nation at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge Saturday at Riverside Park in Grand Rapids, Mich.
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's cross country team competed with some of the top teams in the nation at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge Saturday at Riverside Park in Grand Rapids, Mich.
UM-Dearborn finished 24th out of 26 teams in the 5k race as the team prepares for the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Championship in a couple of weeks.
Victoria Hebda led the Wolverines with a time of 20:07.2 and a 101st-place finish, while Kylie Callison was 109th in a time of 20:10.9. Other top finishers for UM-Dearborn included Mikayla Borg in 111th, Chloe Jablonski in 121st and Julia Cercone in 140th in the field of 277 runners.
UM-Dearborn returns to Riverside Park for the WHAC Championship meet in two weeks on Nov. 9 in Grand Rapids.
