UM-Dearborn season closes with 1-0 loss at Indiana Tech

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The 2018 season for the University of Michigan-Dearborn women's soccer team came to a close against Indiana Tech in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference contest Saturday in Fort Wayne, Ind.

The Wolverines fell 1-0 for the second straight game, as Indiana Tech took advantage of an own goal in the second half. The loss ends the UM-Dearborn season with a record of 1-11-2 overall and 1-9-1 in the WHAC.

Jordan Anheuser finished a second-straight strong season with 145 saves, which ranks near the top of the NAIA. She has played in every minute of competition since the start of the 2017 season for the Wolverines, the first for the program. Anheuser made eight saves against Indiana Tech on Saturday.

Jenna Rogers finished with a team-high three shots, while Nicole Losek put two shots on net in her final game as a Wolverine.

The Wolverines were outshot 17-7.
