Wolverines fall to No. 22 UNOH on Senior Night

RIVERVIEW, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn women's soccer team hung with Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic powerhouse, the University of Northwestern Ohio on Senior Night Saturday at Gabriel Richard High School in Riverview, Mich.

In a first half that included two lightning delays, the Wolverines used strong defense and goalkeeping to head to the break in a scoreless tie with No. 22 UNOH. The Racers scored three times in the second half to earn the 3-0 win, dropping UM-Dearborn to 1-9-2 overall and 1-7-1 in the WHAC.

In a ceremony prior to the game, the Wolverines honored four seniors, Valeria Cossyleon, Guadalupe Rodriguez, Nicole Losek and Erin McDonald, as a part of Senior Night.

Jordan Anheuser made 12 saves in the loss, as the Wolverines were outshot 31-0.

UM-Dearborn plays its final home game of the season against Rochester College at 7 pm Wednesday at Gabriel Richard High School.
