ANHEUSER MAKES 26 SAVES, WOLVERINES FALL TO WARRIORS

The Wolverines took an early lead, but the Warriors were able to find three unanswered goals, despite a tremendous performance from UM-Dearborn redshirt freshman goalkeeper Jordan Anheuser (FR/Canton, MI). The 3-1 loss drops the Wolverines to 0-3 overall and 0-1 in the WHAC.

Anheuser made 26 saves as Indiana Tech let 38 shots loose at the Wolverine net. Her performance included saving a penalty kick in the first half.

The Wolverines got on the board 3:22 into the contest on a goal from Valeria Cossyleon (SR/Detroit, MI), who put away a loose ball in the Warrior box after a corner kick. The goal is the second of the season for Cossyleon.

Tori Singstock got the Warriors even in the ninth minute, while Shelby Lucas added two goals later in the first half. All three Indiana Tech goals came on clean breakaways.

Indiana Tech finished with 38 shots to five from UM-Dearborn. The teams each took four corner kicks.

The Wolverines continue WHAC action against Concordia University at noon Saturday at Gabriel Richard High School.
