DEARBORN, Mich. -- Olivia Scott of the University of Michigan-Dearborn softball team received Second Team All-Conference accolades. The league announced on Tuesday (Apr. 30). Scott, who just finished her junior season, saw major improvements from the prior year as she raised her batting average to 110 points from 2023.
The junior from Lasalle, Ontario, Canada, would lead off the Wolverine lineup for most of the season. Scott would play just about anywhere on the field but spent most of her time up the middle playing shortstop. Scott led the team with a .357 average. Her .413 on-base percentage and .883 OPS were both tops on the team as well. Scott was also named WHAC All-Academic; the entire list of All-Academic nominees can be found below.
