Wolverines Fall to No. 16 Indiana Tech

DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's soccer team took on nationally ranked Indiana Tech on Wednesday (Oct. 2). The No. 16 Warriors took the contest 3-0, dropping the Wolverines to 2-6-1. 

The Warriors challenged the Wolverines from the opening whistle, forcing them to play in their defensive third for a large portion of the half. Indiana Tech was able to put four shots on goal in the opening 45 minutes. Jack Rogers denied the first three shots; however, with 56 seconds remaining in the opening half, Indiana Tech broke the scoreless tie, taking a 1-0 lead into the break. 

The Warriors added two more goals in the second half, one from the penalty spot, improving their lead to 3-0 and putting the game out of reach for the Wolverines. Jack Rogers made a pair of critical saves in the contest, stopping five shots in the contest.
