UM-Dearborn falls in WHAC opening round

LIVONIA, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's soccer team competed in the opening round of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Postseason Tournament as the No. 8 seed against No. 1 seed Madonna University Saturday in Livonia, Mich.

Yuri Farkas scored four goals for Madonna, including three in the first half, as the Crusaders topped the Wolverines 5-0.

Jacob Drzyzga, Scott Dunford and Bryan Lendzion each recorded a shot for the Wolverines, while goalkeeper Alex Siluk made six saves in net for UM-Dearborn.

Madonna outshot UM-Dearborn 23-3, while both teams took three corner kicks.  

The loss ends the UM-Dearborn season with a record of 6-10-2.
