Lourdes Shuts Out Soccer 3-0

Brighton, MI - The men's soccer team fell to Lourdes University 3-0 on Saturday at the Legacy Center. Lourdes (4-3, 2-1) got on the board just past the 25 minutes mark of the first half when Adilson Darosa scored his fourth goal of the season on a header after teammate Aaron Davis' shot went off the crossbar. Michigan-Dearborn (3-6, 1-3) would have 9 shots in the first half, but they could not put one past Lourdes goalkeeper Jose Cedillo.

The score remained 1-0 through the rest of the first half. Just seconds into the second half Lourdes would extend their lead as Tyrell Chambers put it past junior goalkeeper Erick Beas for the 2-0 lead. Lourdes would score the final goal of the match at the 71 minute mark giving them the 3-0 road victory. Beas made six saves in the game. Senior Alek Vasilevksi led the Wolverines with three shots on goal.

The men's soccer team will host Indiana Tech on Wednesday at 2:00pm at the Legacy Center in an effort to end their four-game losing streak.
