SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn (1-7, 0-3) men's basketball team dropped an away contest against Lawrence Tech (4-3, 1-1) on Wednesday (Nov. 16). Thomas Dillard IV led the Wolverines with 12 points and four steals in a 71-52 loss.
UM-Dearborn Leaders
Dillard IV shot 5-of-10 from the field to tie Maurice Anderson with 12 points for the Maize & Blue. Dillard had a game-high four steals and chipped in four rebounds. Anderson connected on five of his 14 field goals to chip in 12 points. Jimmy Breaux led the Wolverines with nine rebounds and added nine points.
Lawrence Tech Leaders
LTU made 11 triples and shot 40.6% from the floor. Isaiah Cumberland led the contest with 23 points on 9-of-11 shooting and 2-4 from behind the arc. Cumberland came up just short of a double-double, hauling in nine rebounds. Andrew Rinn chipped in 15 points and led the Blue Devils with three made triples. Rinn adds seven rebounds and six assists. Gunnar Gustafson rounded out the scoring by pouring in 12 points and hauling in eight rebounds.
