Wolverines Drop Road Contest Against Lake Superior State

SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn (0-3) men's basketball team travel up to the upper peninsula for a non-conference matchup against Division II foe Lake Superior State. The Lakers showed their prowess, winning the matchup 113-58 on Tuesday (Nov. 1). 

 

Elwood Tomlinson led the Wolverines with 11 points shooting 5-10 from the field and grabbing two rebounds. Jimmy Breaux had a solid performance scoring eight points and bringing down seven rebounds. The Wolverines secured 13 offensive rebounds in the contest and shot 35.3% (6-17) from behind the arc. 

 

The Wolverines couldn't find a recipe to stop the Laker offense as they shot 61.5%  (40-65) from the field and 46.7% from behind the arc.

The Wolverines travel to Indiana for a weekend slate of games against Trinity International and Judson on Friday (Nov. 4) and Saturday (Nov. 5).
