
DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn men's basketball team was handed its first Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference loss of the season by Lourdes University Wednesday at the UM-Dearborn Fieldhouse.
Up 44-40, the (RV) Gray Wolves went on a 16-0 run to take control, topping the (RV) Wolverines 68-54. The loss snaps a three-game win streak and drops UM-Dearborn to 9-3 overall and 3-1 in the WHAC.
Cody Kegley scored 15 points for the Wolverines, all on five 3-pointers while adding three assists. Elwood Tomlinson hit three 3-pointers off the bench, finishing with 15 points, while Jason Gigliotti added nine points and seven rebounds.
UM-Dearborn shot 20-of-50 from the field, 8-of-22 from deep and 6-of-14 from the line while being outrebounded 38-24.
McRay White led the Gray Wolves off the bench with 18 points and eight rebounds.
UM-Dearborn travels to No. 14 Cornerstone University for a WHAC matchup at 3 pm Saturday at Mol Arena in Grand Rapids, Mich.
