DEARBORN, Mich. – Drew Adams of the University of Michigan-Dearborn men's ice hockey team was named Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week for his performance on Friday (Oct. 13). The league announced on Monday (Oct. 16).
Adams, a freshman netminder from Grosse Ile, Mich., made his first start in goal for the Wolverines in Friday's 8-0 victory over Aquinas. Adams made 22 saves en route to his first career shutout and helped propel the Wolverines to a sweep over the Saints.
