Adrian, MI - The hockey team was looking for a signature win as they continue to battle for a spot in the ACHA National Tournament. The team not only got one win, they got two wins this weekend. Michigan-Dearborn swept the 5th ranked Adrian College Bulldogs this weekend. After winning 4-3 in overtime on Friday night at home, the Wolverines won 2-1 on Saturday night in Adrian.

Once again freshman Nic LaBurn scored a big goal while fellow freshman Kevin Bechard scored the other goal in giving the Wolverines the weekend sweep. Sophomore goalie Nate Ferris picked up the win. The hockey team will travel to Lynchburg, Virginia next weekend to take on 16th ranked Liberty University on Friday and Saturday.
