Hockey Completes the Sweep of Navy

Annapolis, MD - The men's ice hockey team finished the weekend with a 7-4 win over Navy on Saturday night. Just two games into the season the Wolverines offsense looks strong scoring 7 goals in each game. Sophomore Jeff McFarland got the scoring underway early with assists from junior Gino Darin and sophomore Kevin Bechard. Once again, the underclassmen had a great night. Sophomore Andrew Palushaj had one goal and two assists, while freshman Nic LaBurn had two goals and one assist and fellow freshmen Tyler Dalton and Troy Saunders each added a goal. Sophomore defenseman Ryan Urso added two assists. In addition to scoring 7 goals each game this weekend, the Wolverines had 6 different goal scorers again on Saturday night just as they did on Friday night.
