DEARBORN, Mich. – The University of Michigan-Dearborn Department of Athletics & Recreation announced the department GPA for the winter 2024 semester. The department achieved a 3.25-term GPA across the 16 sponsored sports. The winter semester mark surpassed the 3.21 mark set in the fall 2023 semester and raised the GPA for the 2023-24 academic year to 3.23.
Volleyball took home top honors with an astonishing 3.55 team GPA. Women's hockey and softball finished second and third with a 3.43 and 3.38 GPA, respectively. The men's ice hockey team took home the top male sport GPA, finishing fourth with a 3.37. Men's cross country, with a 3.35 GPA, rounded out the top five teams.
Additionally, UM-Dearborn announced its 21 student-athletes who achieved a perfect mark in both semesters during the 2023-24 academic year. The entire list of student-athletes and team GPAs can be found below.
